A strong Pacific storm from Alaska is heading towards the Southland due to a shift in the jet stream. Snow levels have dropped to the 4,000 foot level and a Winter Storm Watch has already been posted by the National Weather Service for the San Bernadino Mountains.
Down here in the OC, we could expect as much as 2 inches of rain. Later this week a second, warmer storm, could bring as much rain as the first.
Temps at the beginning of the week will only reach into the high 50s for daytime highs – so make sure to have those sweaters and wet weather gear for the beginning of the work week.
