2 Star Trek Legends Have Passed

Alexander Courage, the original composer of the original Star Trek music theme has passed away at the age of  88. Alexander “Sandy” Courage. He passed away on May 15

Joseph Pevney who directed several Star Trek episodes has also died. He passed away on May 18. Joseph Pevney directed over a dozen episodes of Star Trek, including “The City on the Edge of Forever,” in which Kirk and Spock travel back in time to Depression Era Earth co-starring Joan Collins as Edith Keeler, and “The Trouble With Tribbles,” in which the starship Enterprise is infested with cute, furry creatures.

Both of these legends will be missed, but we will forever be with them in syndication.
