We’ve Landed on Mars…Again
Phoenix successfully landed on the Red Giant as the latest NASA/JPL explorer vehicle looks for life on Mars.

At approximately 4:55 PDT, Phoenix landed after the “7 minutes of terror”. The 7 minutes is the time it takes for the orbiter to enter the atmosphere, deploy parachutes, heat shield deployment and then final landing.
At 4:51 PDT, signal received that parachutes did deploy and they have a 32k signal lock on Phoenix communications array.
The Phoenix successfully landed and NASA/JPL jumps for joy!
