Let’s get it right folks. On various news stories on TV today it is amazing to me how many people actually put a dash between the – and the moniker and/or capitalize the “I”:
iPod NOT I-pod or i-Pod
iPhone NOT i-Phone or IPhone or i phone
I’m pretty excited for tonite’s launch of the iPhone. I think next week we will hear alot of positive press about this evening’s launch of the iPhone.
Regardless….I’m still iPhoneless….

The iPhone is here! I by 2 Apple locations and 1 AT&T store and there were lines alright.
I debated about 20x today if I should just get in line and go for it…
I need to be fiscally responsible right now…

He has an iPhone and has been talking to people in line. It’s payday today and I”m feeling a bit like I need to go and stand in line and buy one. The hype and talk has been tremendous.
However, I have to be good and concentrate on what I currently have. It is so tempting to go and stand in line.
I want an iPhone.

Filed under: Just Too Cute!, Personal Log, TechnogadgetsMy palms have been itchy for the last two days. I want an iPhone. My Sprint wireless plan doesn’t expire until Decmeber of 2008! I have been shuffling some funds around to see if I can survive the $500 dent if I decide to go out and get one.
The other problem is that I know I will have to put down a deposit with AT&T Wireless to establish service – meaning more money that has to be set aside.
I have a BBQ coming up that I am hosting on Saturday and rent will be due on Monday.
It looks bleak.
So unless there is someone out there who wants to add me as a Family Member to their plan, I may have to wait until next year to buy my iPhone…
I’ve been watching videos of the iPhone so much this evening that I found myself pinching out on my trackpad to zoom-in to an image when I was in Photoshop – how funny was that???
USA Today, Walt Mossberg of the WSJ and David Pogue with the New York Times all had very favorable things to say about the iPhone today. They all also had many bad things to say. For the most part, however, the three of them loved their experience with the iPhone. The bad things?? Let’s count the ways eh?
1. EDGE instead of 3G – however they all said the experience with EDGE was ok overall – WIFI worked like a charm.
2. AT&T
3. No Flash or WMV support, YET
4. AT&T
5. Great you can open Word, Excel and PDFs, but no editing
These are just a few of the reasons.
As for me, will you see me in line at my local Apple Store on Friday??
