What Happens in Vegas…
Well I went to Vegas this weekend to drop my mom off at my sisters. She is returning to work on Monday and needs mom to help out with baby Jessica. My dad is still overseas.
So, I decided, I’m going to have some kind of fun this weekend despite the fact I’m still fighting this cold/bronchitis thing.
So…I met a nice guy. I’ll call him “B”. We met online at first and my first impression was that he was cute. We decided to meet up for dinner, some casino hopping, maybe a bar and then hangout more. B setup reservations for dinner at Emeril’s at the MGM Grand. I got to his hotel and he was waiting for me in the lobby. I found him and he was much more cuter in person that his pics. We went back up to his room cuz I wanted to see the rooms there (he was staying in one of those Hilton Timeshare properties). These mini-apartments are nice. It even had its own washer/dryer in the unit! We left for Emeril’s but got there a tad bit early. They were more than accommodating to seat us early. What a great menu. I so wanted to have the rib eye steak – but I was good and had the streamed grouper. It was steamed in its own juices with wine, tomoato, onion and carrots. The final result was a broth that was to die for. B decided to get the rib eye steak. I was eyeing it (and him) all night!
I enjoyed two glasses of wine, while he enjoyed his gin & tonics. I was tempted to get a vodka tonic, but saved that for later.
Afterward, we headed out to a bar on the Southend of the strip and had a couple of drinks there. I did fufill my need for a vodka tonic or two. We went to a mixed crowd gay bar called Buffalo.
After a few drinks each and lots of people watching, we both decided to head out. In the cab ride back to the hotel (that’s where my car was) we held hands and did the leg touching thing.
The rest of the night was great. Let’s just say I left the next day….very late, in fact.
It was a pleasure meeting you, I hope to see you again soon in DC. (He lives near where I used to ive in Washington DC (Reston)). Have a safe trip home!
After a wonderful dinner, we both headed out to do some
