Friday Morning Blahs and a Date?
Good morning all! It’s Friday. Ugh. It’s about 6:30am, a tad bit earlier than narmal. Today is the first official day of the rollouts of brand new 2×2.3 GHz Mac G5s. It has been a rocky road leading to today. I’m going in early to do some prep before our first rollout at 9 this morning. Wish me luck. Each user will probably have gigabytes of data to transfer.
On the weather front, we have had some wonderful weather. It was 85 yesterday and mostly clear. Thanks to a high pressure system. Today will be a bit cooler as that high moves East.
After work today (1:00pm – Mattel has half-day Fridays) I’m spending the day with my friend Aaron. Aaron is the guy that had been recording SciFi Friday for me when I was cable-less. We haven’t officially met in person yet. We have been talking since I started my podcast back in July ’05. We have talked on the phone a lot lately and today, we finally meet. I’m scared and excited at the same time. Wish me luck!
