Now, for those that don’t live in Southern California, it’s always difficult to explain the traffic on the Freeways. The 5 was crowded and moving about 15 to 20 mph. This went on for a couple of miles. Then it became apparent that part of the slowdown was that a motorcycle CHP officer had someone pulled over.
I don’t think the CHP should be out in force during rush hour. Their presence alone causes slowdowns. Now I’m not saying there sbouldn’t be any at all, they just shouldn’t be out in force. I recently heard that the CHP has a new iniative to increase tickets to bring in more income. Ugh!
Thursdays tend to be more crowded for some reason. We’ll be a bit late this morning.
So last night was American Idol. They’re in Hollywood and starts the dwindling down. Tonight was the night of the twins. There were two sets of twins that performed. I thought that both sets weren’t worthy to move on. But the first set of twins went to move onto the next round. Their outfits were AWFUL!! what were they wearing?!? Anyway, once they made it, they felt it necessary to go on recoed critizing the contestants after them that the “overlords” (what crazy Dave called Simon, Paula and Randy) let people in that they shouldn’t have still upset at comments Paula and Simon made towards them. Let it go…you guys got thru to the next round where you’ll both surely be voted off on. There were some good performances on tonites show. Another performance that stunned me was the story of the little cowboy. The little gay cowboy. Now…I don’t know ifhe is gay..but was that an ascot thingy he was wearing with his cowboy gear? when he moved to the next round, he stomped and jumped around the room like Antoine from “Men In Films” from back in the “In Living Color” days. I look forward to tonite’s show.
I caught a little bit of the last part of Beauty and the Geek 2. Now you all know of my weakness for geeky type guys. They need a gay version of Beauty and the Geek. I would so be there!
More later…we’re almost at the office.
