Giada de Laurentiis, I miss her

Well it is Day II of my trip here in DC. Now, I have been living back at home with my parents since late July. That’s almost 5 months. 5 months of NO CABLE/SAT. Today, for the first time in almost half a year, I watched my Food Network. And what was the first show I saw??? Everyday Italian with Giada de Laurentiis. I LOVE GIADA. It was so therapeutic for me to watch and listen to her cook on her show. Today she makes a simple tomato sauce. It was just like we made in cooking school!
We’re off to get some lunch in the city. It snowed last nite and there is a blanket of white show everywhere!
