Sunday Already?

October 31st, 2005 1:09 am | 2 Comments

I haven’t had a day off since last Sunday. The entire weekend was with clients and computer moves and fixes and cleaning. What a tiring weekend. The week ahead is no better. One of our larger projects starts on Thursday and I’m at the helm. Mom is in Vegas for a week.

I’ll try to get a podcast out tomorrow nite. Have a good week everyone!

Hurricane Beta

October 29th, 2005 7:49 pm | No Comments

Our newest Hurricane is Hurricane Beta which is just poised to cross over into Honduras and Nicaragua. Currently a Category 1, it will strengthen to a Category 3 by Sunday.

So I have a question…..this storm has the potential to cross over Honduras and Nicaragua and pass over into Pacific Waters. When it does what happens?

1. Does it get a new name since it is a Pacific Storm?
2. Is the phenomenon of an Atlantic based storm crossing into the Pacific, called something?
3. How many Hurricanes have passed over to become a Pacific storm?

Hmmm……

Chicago – My Town!!!

October 26th, 2005 9:41 pm | No Comments

The Chicago White Sox win the 2005 World Series in the 4th game!!! The game ended 1-0. Former President Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush attended tonite’s game, but it wasn’t enough for the Houston Astros to punch thru a solid performance by the Sox.

Congrats to the White Sox! I’m sure the Southside has exploded in joy!

At the top of the 14th, the Sox hit a home run scoring a run after being tied 5-5 for 5 extra innings. Next they scored another run and now the bottom of the 14th at 7-5. White Sox

Go Chicago my hometown team! I was born in Chicago if you didn’t know that! [smile]
