Hi everyone. It’s Sunday and yet another attempt to keep my journal up to date. Let’s see if I can make an entry everyday this week. I just got up a few minutes ago. I went straight to the computer and logged on. Checked out the usual haunts, gay.com, to see what was going on. Then went on Yahoo Chat and nothing much was going on there either. I walked into the kitchen and looked the messed I made last night. I baked a Peach-Blueberry pie last night. I need to clean this up. But first…breakfast. I decided to break out my new Chef’s Choice wafflemaker and make some waffles. Poured the batter in the maker and voila, I had waffles. I went to the fridge to get some butter and syrup. Syrup…yeah….wait…where the fuck is the syrup! There was no syrup in sight. This sucks! So what’s a chef to do? Well….I went back into the fridge and pulled the pie out. There was a slice in in from last night. I scooped up some of the filling and put it on top of the waffles! Such a save! Sprinkled some powdered sugar on it and it was breakfast. I brought some into my roommate Brian. He was still asleep. He got in pretty late last nite.

Tiagro (Brian’s cat) had thrown up again. – cleaned that up…yech. I wanna go outside today and I have a few errands to run. I need more memory for my iBook. I’m gonna try to head over to Microcenter today and pickup another 256mb of RAM. I also want to stop by the mall and get some shirts.

Oh…thought I’d use the journal to keep a log of my blood sugar. Time: 1:15pm, just had those waffles. Reading: 218mg/DL

Well Brian is off to the Phish concert in Philly then the final concert in Vermont. It was my day off today, but I found myself being lathargic and took a long nap.

We got up early this morning so I could add him to the rental car contract. He ended up taking the car up to Philly. After he and Jerod left, I made some lunch then took a nap.

I did some emails to work and feel asleep. I woke up to find that the Governor of New Jersey came out and that over 4,000 gay marriage licenses issued in the State of California are now invalid.

In Weather news…Bonnie has broken up once it hit landfall over the panhandle of Florida. It’s now more of a remnant of former Tropical Store Bonnie. Now…Charley is intensifying as it heads todays Tampa. Charley is currently a category 2 hurricane and the state of Florida is preparing. Charley will be over the DC area sometime Saturday afternoon. It is going to be a WET WET weekend here in DC with Bonnie and Charley both making their way up the coast. I hope that the rain doesn’t affect the Phish concerts up in Vermont.

Such a nice day. Brian went up to Baltimore to meet up with some old friends from New York. He’s going to the last Phish show up in Vermont. Picked up my favorite FlexCar today. They have this electric hybrid Honda Civic at West Falls Church that I like to rent now and then. I ran my errands. First I went to Microcenter to get that RAM for my iBook. Well…deal of the century. Turns out you have to put PC100 SODIMMs in an iBook 500. But, here’s the BIG but, if you want to put a 512MB chip in…it can be PC133! PC133 chips are way cheaper than PC100 chips. For 10 dollars more than a 256MB pC100 chip. I scored today. I know…I’m a geek, I admit it. Then I went to Target and Harris Teeter for the rest of my errands. Too many cute guys around today. Down this aisle, down that aisle. Anyways…time for Six Feet under in a few.
