Well…I got up pretty early this morning. I slept back on the aero bed last night. I was on the couch the last few days as my roommates are vacationing down in Orlando this week. I thought I would give my back a break and sleep on something real.
After getting up this morning I headed into the office. Nora, my new assistant, was scheduled to be in a 9:00am. There was inbound traffic on 66 and I called into the store to let Nora know I was on my way. I asked Nora to start the mis en place for the cake bake today. The last couple of days we have been baking yellow cakes for Carl’s Basic Cake Decorating class on Friday. We had to bake 34 cakes!. When I got in, Nora was already working on the cakes and had here Bob Marley music on in the classroom. I walked into the office and Mike was already in. I said hello as he was engrossed in an email he was reading. I then started to work on the shopping list for tonight’s class. Myra Kornfeld was schedule to come in tonite to teach Autumn Vegetarian Soups.
So…the ongoing saga of my lost wallet. It has been a month now since I reported my ATM card missing and BofA would RUSH me a new card. I found out that my ATM card was sitting at the Airborne Express office in Springfield after I got a call from an Airborne Express representative. He said he needed the suite number for my address. I gave it to him and he said thank you we’ll get that package to you tomorrow. I was like…no way…you’re delivering that package TODAY. Needless to say, I had to drive to Springfield to get it. Once I got there I looked at the mailing label and guess what was on the label?? The SUITE number! I’m not sure exactly how they couldn’t figure it out. I picked up the envelope, ripped it open. I drove to a BofA ATM center and used my card. YES!! I had access!Filed under: Personal Log
